16,716 Total Acres
Primary Target Species Black Bear, White-tailed Deer, Wild Turkey, Ruffed Grouse, Gray Squirrel

Terrain & Scouting Report

A massive 16,000+ acre tract characterized by the Clarion River corridor. The terrain is rugged with steep highlands and deep, dark creek bottoms filled with rhododendron slicks.

Recommended Tactics

The "Rhododendron Crawl." The deep, dark thickets in the creek bottoms are where the largest bears in the county live. Still-hunt these thickets during rain or snow to muffle your footsteps while moving through the brush.
