Kinzua Dam / Big Bend Area
Other | Warren County
Primary Target Species
White-tailed Deer (Archery), Waterfowl, Wild Turkey, Mink, Raccoon
Terrain & Scouting Report
Federally managed lands downstream of the Kinzua Dam. This area consists of steep, wooded hillsides and flat river-bottom sections. It is a critical corridor for wildlife moving between the reservoir and the river valley.
Recommended Tactics
Be mindful of safety zones and restricted areas near the dam structures. The "Big Bend" acts as a natural funnel. Set up on the lower benches near the river during the late season when the open water attracts both waterfowl and deer looking for easier travel along the bank.
