Terrain & Scouting Report

Known for its iconic massive rock outcroppings and deep hemlock groves. This area provides a classic "Northwoods" hunting experience with high-canopy hardwoods and cold-water stream bottoms.

Recommended Tactics

Focus on the "Hemlock Hollows" during periods of heavy snow. The dense evergreen canopy provides thermal cover for deer. Bears are also highly active near the massive rock formations on the ridges, which they use for winter denning sites. Early season Wood Duck haven. Focus on the beaver ponds and backwater sloughs.
