Terrain & Scouting Report

A 2,128-acre tract characterized by the steep, dramatic hillsides of the Allegheny River valley near Tidioute. The terrain is extremely rugged with significant vertical relief and high-quality hardwood timber.

Recommended Tactics

The "Vertical Intercept." Use the steepness to your advantage. Hunt the mid-slope benches that run parallel to the river. Deer use these benches to move across the ridges without skylining themselves on the top or exposing themselves in the valley. Look for heavy oak mast along the river-facing slopes.
