Appearance & Identification
Medium-sized furbearer with a masked face and a ringed tail. Dense, grizzled gray/brown fur.
Preferred Habitat
Found everywhere in the ANF near water; highly fond of cornfields and abandoned farm buildings.
Seasonal Behavior
Highly intelligent and dexterous. Primarily nocturnal. Known for "washing" their food in water when available.
